Can I ship an over-sized motorcycle?
Of course! If your motorcycle is bigger than any standard motorcycle, it is imperative that you inform the company that is shipping your motorcycle so they can secure an appropriate mode of shipment. If you’re motorcycle has any modifications that affect the overall size or weight, mark that down and let the company know ahead of time. This is important because if you do not tell the shipping company about your 4-inch lift kit (which makes it impossible to ship on a standard 10-car carrier), you will be charged more money because you misrepresented your motorcycle.

Motorcycle Shipper

An motorcycle shipper can refer to one of two different services: either a ship broker or a carrier. Technically, an motorcycle shipper would be a carrier, because they actually ship your motorcycle; however, most carriers utilize ship brokerages to find motorcycles to ship, because ship brokerages number in the thousands and the vast majority of customers looking to ship their motorcycles use ship brokerages. Motorcycle shippers specialize in shipping motorcycles, however, so if you contract with a ship brokerage you’ll still be using a carrier no matter what.

There is only one difference between a bad economist and a good one: the bad economist confines himself to the visible effect; the good economist takes into account both the effect that can be seen and those effects that must be foreseen.
