Can I put things in my boat?
The way it works is that trucking companies that only use giant, 10-car carriers aren’t licensed to ship household goods because there’s no place to put it! The difference, however, is the enclosed ship service that many companies offer. If you’re looking to ship some boxes along with your boat, companies that use enclosed trailers and trucks are licensed to do that. But don’t pack your boat full of boxes if it’s going onto a giant, open truck, because that’s illegal. The gray area is the trunk. Most boat ship companies allow you to have up to 100 pounds in the trunk only. This means blankets, pillows, maybe some clothes...loose stuff. By putting miscellaneous junk in your trunk, so to speak, you’re not transporting “household goods” but rather just some “stuff” that happens to be in your trunk. This can change, however, if you decide you’d like your stereo to stay in the trunk, because this can be seen as household goods. So no electronics at all in the boat, and you can never have anything in the cab. Loose change and some candy wrappers are okay, but nothing big.

Boat Shipper CompanyAn boat shipper company can refer to either a ship brokerage or an boat carrier. The main difference is that a ship brokerage actually sets up the ship, but does not actually ship the boat; they find a carrier, a type of boat shipper, to actually ship the boat for you. Most carriers are owner-operators, which means that the driver owns his own truck and operates it himself. These are different boat shippers than fleets – fleets are large boat shipper companies that hire drivers that work for them, as opposed to drivers who own their own boats.

Cars Need More Open Software
in today’s world, if you don’t have an mp3 jack built in to the automobiles that you’re pumping out, chances are that they aren’t selling well. the big three are having major problems with this, as open software is more of a rarity than a stock option on most of their vehicles. open software will allow oem’s and tier 1 producers a leading edge on the market by providing things that many other auto makers can’t provide at the moment, and that’s where the most money is to be made at this point. read article...

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this -- you cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal' 'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery' and 'Thou Shall Not Lie' in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians, it creates a hostile work environment.
